Duke of Edinburgh
The Duke of Edinburgh Program is a real adventure from start to finish. Pupils can do the programmes at three levels, which when completed lead to Bronze, Silver of Gold Awards.
Pupils will start on the Bronze Award here at Samuel Cody School. Pupils achieve the awards by completing a personal programme of activities in four sections. These are titled Volunteering, Physical Activity, Skills and an Expedition.
Pupils will find themselves helping others in the community, increasing their personal fitness, developing new skills and eventually taking part in an expedition.
